This is the head of Errando, an amazing gift from Francine.
He is a Volks Reisner head, but will not ultimately have the Volks SD17 body he was made for.
His head is so big compared to my other dolls, that i'd like to do some kind of Zardoz type thing, with stuff coming out of the opening in his head rather than his mouth, of course. The original Reisner doll is a whopping 65cm tall, and Bero, my tallest boy, is actually a few centimeters taller, but Errando's head is HUGE by comparison! When i got a chance to hold a fullset Reisner a month ago, i actually thought he was taller than my Na-Hu.
Bero thinks Errando's head weighs as much as a bowling ball. When the SD13 long legged body i have planned for Errando is procured, we may try a swap. Hyperdoll resin is paler than Volks pureskin, but with the same color tone.
He doesn't have a permanent wig yet, but the default cadet blue glass eyes are really nice, so we're keeping them. Errando floats on the coffee table, demanding to know - where's the rest of him?
His head looks GINORMOUS in Bero's lap! But ever so handsome!

Yes, Volks heads in general are huge in comparison to hyperdoll heads. Errando has wig issues... the default wig, while expensive, is obtainable, but not what i had in mind for him. The brown wig is really too small, and too... brown, though he looks fine. i'd prefer an ivory with streaks, or a russet or chocolate blend. And it must have no bangs. Volks puts in-the-eyes, bangless wigs on these boys for a reason. Fortunately Bero can wear his castoff wigs.
