Didn't some town near Detroit just elect an 18-year-old mayor?

My husband says they elected an 18 year old mayor in Hillsdale, which is in lower central Michigan. He was a write-in cadidate, a protest vote against the unopposed incumbent, and won by 62 votes. In Ferndale, our mayor, Bob Porter, ran unopposed, but here we're pretty darn relieved to not be all het up over a city election for once. We even voted him a raise!
